Chloe + Sutton had me at ‘garden party themed wedding’ when they inquired with me. Sand Rock Farms in Aptos, CA was the perfect venue for their vision. These two wanted to do things differently so they opted for an elongated cocktail hour instead of a ceremony so they could have more time with their favorite people. The party moved into the reception space that was tucked away inside what looked like an ancient ruin. Decorated with the perfect floral pieces and vintage glassware (not to mention the cutest eclectic coffee mug party favors) the entire day was absolutely beautiful.

Intimate weddings are so special in the way they bring people together intentionally. The day is much slower paced leaving room for connection, meaningful conversations, details, things that you love, and more time with the people you love. Megan said it best when asked what type of feeling she was going for when planning her wedding: “We wanted it to be super intimate but still loads of fun. We had heard so much about bigger weddings and not getting time with everyone so we made it a point to make sure we had memories with all of our guests and also with each other!”. Santa Barbara is the perfect getaway for such an event. The courthouse brings in the old Spanish European style while The Lark serves the best food and creates a welcoming ambiance for celebration. Congrats Megan + Kyle, I am so honored I got to be a tiny piece of your day helping you keep the feeling of it all close through photos.

Angela + Braedon’s sunrise Paris elopement is one I will hold dear always. There truly is no place like Paris, France and then Paris at sunrise…. that will leave you speechless. I was so honored to be the one to document A + B’s love amongst gardens, historic buildings, architecture of dreams, and bustling streets. It was a slow morning getting ready separately in anticipation for their first look in the Jardin Des Tuileries. From there they said their handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and we headed out to adventure through the streets of Paris. We took a private boat tour, stopped for coffee and pastries, Braedon got a tattoo (!!), and we ended the evening with pasta (because pasta is always a good idea). The whole day felt like a dream and one I wish I could go back to often. I am so inspired at every turn whenever I travel through Paris and I cannot wait to tell more stories all across Europe as the years go on.

Stephanie + Jake’s SmogShoppe Wedding in Los Angeles was such a beautiful day to witness and be a part of. Fun fact, these two got married at the courthouse during 2020 and have been waiting to celebrate with their closest friends and family ever since! The day finally came and it was everything they thought it would be and more. From the gorgeous light streaming in during their getting ready photos, to the tears shed seeing each other for the first time, to their best friend marrying them, it was all what they had dreamed up for years. I was so honored to get to document their engagement before they got married in 2020 and we instantly clicked. Stephanie and Jake are so sweet and fun and their love is magnetic. You can feel how much love is shared between them in the way they act together and look at each other. Of course that was even more evident on the day of their wedding.
Having your wedding at the SmogShoppe in Los Angeles is an amazing option for a fun and vibrant celebration. Once a 1980s smog-check center, SmogShoppe is now an indoor/outdoor event venue and a haven for desert plants, vertical gardens and chic vintage furnishings.They have the perfect amount of space for a great party and so many funky corners to take fun pictures in! The staff is amazing and you can really make your wedding day stand out from the average wedding. With garden walls filled with greenery, you and your guests completely feel like you have left Los Angeles and are in your own sanctuary space.
There are so many moments from this day that I hold dear and truly feel like the essence of who Stephanie + Jake are was documented perfectly. Silly, fun, sentimental, loved by many, and so much more. It was an honor to be able to tell their story and celebrate their love. Here is to you S+J!

Ida + Peter’s Luxury Destination Wedding at Hacienda Temozon In Mexico was intentional, festive, all inclusive, and the perfect three day celebration with their closest friends and family from quite literally all over the world. Ida & Peter live in Australia while Ida’s family is in California and Peter’s are in England.They rented out the entire Hacienda Temozon in Mexico to make it as intimate as possible and it was nothing short of that!
These two know how to throw a party. I instantly fell in love with them. Their warmth, inviting personality, and hilarious stories made me want to just hang out with them everyday. Documenting their day was nothing short of a dream. The weekend started off with a fun filled rehearsal pool party (with numerous themed water floaties!) and made/cooked in front of you taco bar for dinner. The perfect way to kick off the weekend of festivities! Come wedding day, Ida got ready in her suite amongst her best friends making homemade flower crowns and sharing stories of how they knew one another. She then slipped into her CUSTOM made wedding dress by one of her dearest friends. Still can’t get over that detail, it was perfect. Peter was across the property with his guys relaxing, chatting, sipping whisky, and showing off his light blue Tom Ford suit and Gucci loafers.
After the first look in the vibrant yellow and red colored courtyard, we walked around the property and took some portraits before having to take cover for a downpour of rain that came out of nowhere! Rest assured, everyone was laughing and in great spirits taking things as they came about. The rain wouldn't stop their day from happening. Their ceremony was lined in rows of sunflowers as a nod to their proposal where Peter asked Ida to marry him in a sunflower field in France. Every little detail of their day had so much intention and storytelling behind it. Truly a photographer's dream.
After the ceremony, it was time to party and like I mentioned earlier, these two know. How. to. Party. Their friend group is all so close and the energy in the room was never missing a beat. With a live band (that the bride and groom got on stage and sang with) and an open bar, the night went off with a bang (no seriously, there was a huge party confetti popper that filled the dance floor). In great party energy fashion, the entire bridal party ended the night jumping into the resort pool… some with their clothes on… some without (which is why there are no photos of that part of the night). All in all, Ida + Peter’s wedding was one I will never forget. I love these two humans and their friends and family so much. What an honor to capture their Luxury Destination Wedding in Mexico.

Allison + Rory’s intimate Dolomites wedding in Italy was an experience of a lifetime.There's something truly enchanting about a destination wedding, where the beauty of nature intertwines with the celebration of love. Nestled amidst the majestic mountains of northern Italy, Allison + Rory’s intimate ceremony and reception exuded an atmosphere of tranquility and romance
Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Dolomites, Allison and Rory's wedding ceremony was a dream brought to life. The crisp mountain air whispered through the evergreens that were drenched in the vibrant yellow of the fall season, creating a serene ambiance for their heartfelt vows. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, (most who have never been out of the country!) the couple exchanged rings, sealing their love amidst nature's grandeur. Every detail, from the floral arrangements to the awe inspiring backdrop, accentuated the natural beauty of the surroundings, allowing the couple's love to take center stage.
After the vows were exchanged, the celebration continued at the Park Hotel Lauren in Bolzano, where a picturesque greenhouse awaited the guests. As they stepped inside, they were greeted by an ethereal scene. The soft glow of candle light entwined with cascading greenery created a magical atmosphere. The long family style table was adorned with delicate blooms and candles, adding a touch of romance to the intimate setting. The guests reveled in the joyous occasion, savoring delectable cuisine and raising their glasses in toasts to the newlyweds.
The next day, as the sun bathed the Dolomites in golden light, we set out to explore more of what the Dolomites have to offer. Lago Di Braies, with its crystal-clear turquoise waters framed by towering peaks, provided an idyllic backdrop for some beautiful sunrise portraits. The couple's smiles radiated pure happiness as they strolled hand in hand, rowed in one of the iconic boats taking it all in and being lost in the tranquility of the moment. We ended portraits at Casini Di Misurini at sunset where we scaled mountain tops, admired the sunrays pouring in through the clouds, and took in the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.
Allison and Rory's wedding in the Dolomites was a celebration of love and the natural beauty that surrounds us. It served as a reminder that there is something truly magical about uniting two souls amidst such breathtaking scenery. Their choice to exchange vows abroad in one of the most beautiful places with their closest friends and family was a nod to their love for one another and the people closest to them.
The wedding was not just a union of two individuals; it was an ode to the beauty and serenity of nature. It showcased how love, when intertwined with the grandeur of the Dolomites, can create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Allie + Adam’s Neahkahnie Oregon Coast Micro Wedding was intimate, vibrant, a little rainy, and full of so much joy being surrounded by their closest friends and family. Nestled into the base of Tillamook County, the sweet and charming town of Neahkahnie is perfect for intimate coastal weddings and after visiting multiple times throughout their dating years, these two knew this was exactly where they wanted to say I do.
The couple first crossed paths at a mutual friend’s birthday party in May 2016. Allie says they locked eyes as soon as he walked in. “After talking for hours, ignoring the rest of our friends, we discovered we grew up around the block from each other and went to the same elementary, middle, and high schools. We had been at the same gatherings and New Year’s Eve parties before.” Allie mentioned.
Allie was leaving for grad school in August, but they shared their story with me saying they were inseparable in a matter of weeks and decided to soak up the summer together, then navigate long distance after Allie left. When it came to the proposal, Adam knew excactly what he wanted to do to make the moment special for for Allie. This is what he shared:
“On our fifth year anniversary, we woke up like any other morning. Allie was brushing her teeth when I called her into the library claiming to see a really cute dog outside. Allie quickly finished brushing her teeth, running to the window, but didn’t see any dogs. At that point, I just laughed and pulled a handcrafted memory book off a shelf. I had made the book for Allie years before, with photos and hand-drawn sketches of special moments in our relationship.This time, I had added a few chapters. On the last page, I said I wanted Allie to be my family forever, and asked her to marry me. She said ‘Yes, yes, 100 times yes.’”
For their Neahkahnie Oregon Coast Micro Wedding, Allie + Adam had a vision of something romantic, personal, and laid back. They wanted to have fun with some over-the-top old-world inspiration, but with a modern and organic twist. It was very Kinfolk meets Jane Austen. Allie and Adam were looking for a gorgeous, vintage style Airbnb with romantic yet full of character coastal vibes. A place where their intimate group of 10 guests would feel comfortable and special with personalized touches. The night before their micro wedding on the Neahkahnie Oregon Coast, their entire family stayed at the cabin and woke up together to have a nice family brunch to start off their wedding day.
Allie looked simply radiant in a romantic lightweight georgette fabric fit and flare, with elegant square neckline front and back Reformation dress. Her sheer chiffon puff gathered long sleeves and homemade attached train looked so graceful. For her hair, she went for a twisted bridal bun with kiss curls, baby’s breath and roses dotted through the sides of her hair. Flawless makeup, pearl drop earrings, latte colored bridal heels. To say everyones jaw was on the floor as she walked down the aisle was an understatement. Adam’s chic groom style was achieved with a khaki oxford blazer, crisp white shirt, ivory striped pants, and brand new white sneakers. We love a good groom with style moment. For Allie’s bouquet—and décor in general—the couple was inspired by the season and florals local to the Pacific Northwest. They made sure to keep all the other design details really neutral, letting the organic pastels really pop. Her insane bouquet and floral lined aisle during the ceremony created by Brier + Ivy complemented the coastal surrounding perfectly.
After many tears were shed, Allie and Adam said I do and gave hugs and popped champage amongst their loved ones. We ended our time on the coast before heading back to the cabin with some bridal portraits. In Oregon coast fashion, we even got some rain!
Heading back to the house, the reception space was all set up and simply magical. The table was stunning, with candles, aromatic flowers, personalized linen napkins and a banner that read, ‘My heart is and will always be yours’. Great music and deep conversations of memories and loving words filled the space well into the night. Allie + Adam said it best, “it’s a warmth we’ll never forget”. In fact, it’s a wedding the guests and I will always be honored to have been present for.
